Several years ago when my daughters were playing in a State Basketball Tournament, I was visiting with a friend who was broadcasting all of the Tournament games and he handed me a headset and said put it on.  This was not a game that my daughters were playing in. Ironically, my father-in-law was tuning into the games to get ready for my daughters games and recognized my voice.  Later, he told me that it sounded real good.  It was kinda fun too.

Then a couple of years later, we moved to a new town, a new school new everything.  I asked the AD if they streamed the games.  He replied no.  So I asked if I could do it so that my in-laws in Canada could watch my kids play sports.  He said go ahead.

So I started with just what I had streaming with very low quality everything.  Last year we moved on to streaming in HD and this year we will add instant replays and add a scoreboard to the screen.
